We suffer an eternity so that we could be happy a minute.
We are happy an eternity and it all ends in a minute of suffering.
This is the essence of ‘happy endings’ and ‘tragedies’ these days. No matter what you choose, be sure that if everybody’s happy from the beginning something bad will surely happen and the other way around. If it’s not so, then you have just watched a bad film.
And this as well forms our behavior in life. So, being happy too long makes me ruin all up out of boredom. And being sad a long time makes me enjoy ecstatically what I would usually only smile at. So why not be sad? At least it makes it all seem worth it.
